Travel Insurance Pricing
PFS worked with our speciality-lines insurance client to build data collation and governance structures and undertake predictive modelling using a generalised linear model (GLM) to inform their rating structure.
Data analytics to inform excellence in practice management
For over 15 years, PFS have provided a range of insights into a provider of OOHC services across NSW and the ACT. This has been both to inform optimal operational practice and to successfully advocate for changes in sector funding arrangements and changes to legislation.
Our analytical work has included longitudinal studies, reviews of the drivers of positive practice outcomes and forward practice planning.
IPART review of funding
PFS assisted a major industry body representing the NFP sector to inform an NSW Government review of the funding of that sector. Our work involved a series of case studies to highlight funding gaps, a separate document reviewing sector-specific cost pressures and collaboration with the pricing tribunal to facilitate clear and consise data request templates.
Modelling of revenue options for NSW Treasury
PFS undertook a major data matching exercise to inform the funding of NSW emergency services. The work required data matching for every property in NSW to determine the implications of a range of proposed funding mechanisms for NSW based emergency services funding levies.
